Welcome to the Wake County GOP Web site. I am very excited, and deeply honored, to be elected as your Chairman. I, along with our newly-formed Executive Committee, will be focusing on many issues such as the budget and school system in our upcoming local elections this fall. As we put forth our energies into these races, I’m reminded of the reason we’re all here and that is that we are the WAKE COUNTY Republican Party. As the County Party, our primary mission is to recruit, train, support, and elect LOCAL candidates to all municipal, school board, county, and legislative seats. This is our backyard, our “sandbox,” if you will, and we will OWN our sandbox!
Only by WINNING these races can we provide the necessary clout and pressure that will compel our elected officials to govern under the principles of our platform. In order to win these races this year, our Wake County Republican Party will be focusing on four main themes that will be continually repeated:
1.) Fiscal Conservatism – our elected leaders must treat the taxpayers’ money like they’d treat their own money. They must be frugal, efficient, and spend only on those areas that are necessary.
2.) Personal Responsibility – we all need to take “ownership” of our own lives, our decisions, and the consequences of those decisions, rather than relying on our government to make these decisions for us, or bailing us out from our own bad judgment.
3.) Focus on Family and Neighborhoods – the family unit is the backbone of the country, and the school is the backbone of the neighborhood. If either is at risk, then our country is at risk.
4.) Government Accountability – our elected officials, along with all government employees, should be accountable for their actions. Tax cheats, mismanagement and “ethical malfunctions” among our elected leaders must not be tolerated by the people.
On behalf of the Executive Committee, I’d also like to thank to the many volunteers who made our County Convention one of the best, most well-attended in history! I’m also thrilled about the tremendous talent we have coming on our Board this year, and I hope you’ll join me in welcoming them and thanking them for their service to the GOP.

New Chairman's CEO Council. The Council is designed to be a group of Local CEO's that have a passion for our Conserative Goals for Wake County. We will ask them to Donate $1,000.00 to the County Party to be invited to the six meetings a year that this Council will hold. Also invited to attend the Chairman's CEO Council will be our County Elected Officals.
